Etude House Look At My Eyes Shadows Review

Hello~
YAY! It's friday~

Today, I want to do a mini review on four eye shadows from Etude House.

The colors are:
Look at my eyes #BR401, #BE101,
Look at my eyes Jewel #BR402 (Luxury Gold Earring)
Look at my eyes Cafe #PP501 (Purple Sweet Potato Latte)

Etude House Look At My Eyes

Look At My Eyes BR401
Look At My Eyes Jewel BR402 (Luxury Gold Earring)
Look At My Eyes BE101
BE101, Look At My Eyes Cafe PP501 (Purple Sweet Potato Latte)

Etude House Look At My Eyes (BR401)

Look at my eyes (BR401)
Color: Bronze/Brown with shimmer.
This is my favorite out of the four, the color is a very nice bronze brown with the perfect amount of shimmer.

Etude House Look At My Eyes Jewel (BR401, Luxury Gold Earring)
Look At My Eyes Jewel (BR401, Luxury Gold Earring)
Color: Peach Brown? (Not sure what color it is!) with gold and peach glitter.
BR402 has a lot of glitter/shimmer, so there is a bit of fallout.

Etude House Look At My Eyes (BE101)

 Look At My Eyes (BE101)
Color: A beige with shimmer.
I use this one for the inner corners of my eyes.

Etude House Look At My Eyes Cafe (Purple Sweet Potato Latte)
Look At My Eyes Cafe (PP501, Purple Sweet Potato Latte)
Color: Matte medium purple.
A famous dupe of Bobbi Brown's eye shadow in Heather. (Made popular by Park Shi Yeon)

 Swatches:

PP501, BR401, BE101 are true to color but BR402 doesn't come out as the color in the pan.
BR402 comes out very sheer, but it has the most glitter/shimmer out of the four.
PP501 is matte while others have shimmer.

Overall thoughts:
The texture of the shadow is smooth and silky which makes application very easy.
The shadows are sheer and not very pigmented. (I've never tried these with a primer, but I would recommend it!)
I personally don't mind the sheerness because I don't like to wear heavy eye shadow.
The color is build able.

Would I recommend?
Yes, I think these are a good buy for the price.
I really recommend the Look At My Eyes Cafe series, which are matte. (They are very popular in Korea.)
Also, if you like shimmer I really recommend their shadows.

Where to buy:
On Gmarket, Look at my eyes JEWEL is 5,500 won.
Look at my eyes & Look at my eyes Cafe is 3,500 Won.

I've seen Look at my eyes shadows on eBay for 4.88(free shipping).

Has anyone else tried Etude House's eye shadows? What do you think of them?

Get It Beauty Blind Test: Hot Pink Nail Polish

Hello!~
Today's Get It Beauty's Blind Test was on Hot Pink Nail Polish. With the summer weather coming, I think hot pink is a great color to wear on your nails.

What is a blind test? Every week beauty experts picks 5 products from a certain category, then the audience and online voters get to vote on which product is the best. The audience does not get to know the brand of the product until after they vote, which is the reason why it is called a blind test.

The scores for this week's blind test was based on pigment, application, and how fast the polish dries.

The List:

1. Chanel Le Vernis Nail Polish Rose Exuberant 519.
13ml/ 32000 Won
222/300 Points

2. Skinfood Nail Vita Alpha ARE01
10ml/ 2500 Won
216/300 Points

3. Bourjois One Second Nail- T7 Rouge Cerise
9ml/ 15000 Won
214/300 Points

3. Espoir Nail Color- Pink Pepper
10ml/ 7000 Won
180/300 Points

5. A'pieu Aurora Nail Touch PK01
8/5ml/ 3000 Won
176/ 300 Points

Which product catches your eyes the most?
I really want to try the Skinfood Nail Vita one!

*I haven't been posting much lately because I've been busy with my job and school. I promise I will post a lot when the semester is over. Also, I will be heading to South Korea at the end of May for 5 weeks. So during those five weeks, my blog will consists of posts about Korea and Korean makeup products. (Please give me some recommendations on what I should post about when I am in South Korea!)

MRWATCH.COM + Layered Bracelets & Watch Ideas

Hello Everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend~

Today I want to talk about the website MRWATCH.COM and my experience with the online company.
I had been wanting a mint watch for a really long time, so I looked around on many websites, including amazon and ebay. While googling, I came across the website mrwatch.com and found a mint/gold watch from Geneva Platinum watch on sale for $25.97, I paid $23.37 with a 10% off promo code.

Before ordering, I did some research about the company to make sure they were a reliable company but there wasn't too much information about the company, just a couple of reviews. Since I really liked the watch a lot, I decided to place my order.

Geneva Platinum Women's 9245 Gold/Mint Green Stainless-Steel Quartz Watch with Green Dial (Picture from MRWATCH.COM)

The Process:
I made my order on April 14th on Sunday, late in the afternoon.
Right after I ordered, MRWATCH sent me a email with the summary of my order.
I also received a email from Google, telling me my order is protected through the Google Trusted Stores Program.
On April 15th, I received a email with a tracking number of my package(usps).

I received my package on April 20th. It took 5 days for my order to be delivered to me (from Kentucky to California). Shipping was free because they offer free shipping on orders over $25. Even though I paid 23.37, I qualified for free shipping because the price of the watch before the promo code was over $25.

I was expecting my watch to come in a case but instead it came in a plastic wrap. I was a bit disappointed but at least the watch was protected with bubble wrap.

20mm Wide Stainless Steel Band

Analog Display w/ Japanese Quartz Movement (40mm wide & 13mm thick)

Fold Over Clasp With Double Push Button Safety

My dog Kobi loves being nosey!

Overall thoughts
I am very happy with the watch! I think the watch looks even prettier in person. The quality of the product is great, it looks and feels like a higher brand watch. I decided to purchase this Geneva watch because they have very good reviews on various websites. I am also very pleased with MRWATCH.COM. If I had one bad thing to say, I wish they would provide a case (even if it is a cheap case) for the watch instead of a plastic wrapper.

To end off the post, here are ideas for layering your bracelets and watches together!

What do you think of layered watches and bracelets?

Dollish Veil Vita BB Cream (Gorgeous Purple) Review *Sponsored

Hello~
Today I have a review on the Dollish Veil Vita BB Cream from Lioele. The product was kindly sent to me for review purposes from Lioele Texas

When Lioele asked me which product I would like to try, I chose the Dollish Vita BB cream in Gorgeous Purple because of the great reviews I read online. The Dollish Veil Vita BB cream has changed my opinion on BB creams for the better. I previously disliked the BB creams I tried in the past but the Dollish Veil Vita BB cream has become my new favorite BB cream.

Dollish Veil Vita BB in Gorgeous Purple (30ml)

Product Description(From Lioele):
The Lioele Dollish Veil Vita BB Cream is a multifunctional skincare and makeup product. It contains the following 6 vitamins (Vitamins A, B5, C, E, F and H) to strengthen and nourish the skin to grow at its own pace for lifting and firming the skin while giving rich moisture. A hint of the Dollish Veil Vita BB can be used as both a foundation and concealer to magically cover, shade, and hide any skin imperfection for a moisturized yet natural matte finish. This unique Lioele Dollish Veil Vita BB Cream not only protects the skin from UVA and UVA's damaging rays, but it also changes capsule colors immediately right after application.

The Dollish Veil Vita BB Cream comes in two colors:

#1 Gorgeous Purple - It effectively corrects and evens out the skin tone, neutralizes and brightens yellow skin tone for a healthier complexion.

#2 Natural Green - It effectively corrects and evens out the skin tone and perfectly neutralizes redness on the skin.

I really like the girly packaging of the Dollish Veil Vita BB Cream. It makes me feel like a princess~

The Dollish Vita BB cream has a pump which makes it easy to use and control how much product you want.

The texture of the BB cream is smooth. It blends really well and feels very lightweight. The BB cream has a light floral scent (Jasmine). I am glad the Dollish Vita BB cream has a light scent because I dislike foundations and BB creams with strong scents because they tend to break my skin out.

The Dollish Veil Vita BB Cream has color changing capsules that changes from a light lavender to your skintone.

The BB cream works best if you use your fingers to blend.

As you can see, I have a lot of red acne scars, dull, and uneven skin tone. I have medium skin with yellow undertones. The BB cream helped tone my uneven skin, brighten, and helped minimize the redness and visibility of the scars.

As you can see, it didn't make my acne scars go away completely but it helped minimized the visibility of the scars. I didn't use a concealer because I personally don't mind if my scars are visible. Those of you who want full coverage, I would recommend applying a concealer.

Close up of my acne scars before & after.
The BB cream really helped minimize the appearance of my red acne scars and gave my dull skin a glow. The BB cream is a medium coverage and matte finish.

I wore the Dollish Vita BB Cream for from 8 A.M. to 8P.M. (due to work & class) one day and the BB cream did not aggravate my acne prone skin and I didn't have to reapply.

I currently use the Dollish Veil Vita BB cream for everyday wear, I use to wear the Stila Stay All Day Foundation (almost $50). I use my Stila Stay All Day Foundation when i need full coverage but for everyday wear I now use the Dollish Vita BB cream which looks more natural and is way less expensive than Stila ($30 dollar difference).

Overall thoughts:

Pros:
Doesn't cause breakouts for my acne prone skin
Color changing & everyone can wear it!
Light weight
Helps even out the skin tone
Brightens dull skin
Good & buildable coverage
Controls my oily t-zone
Primer + BB cream + Sunblock in one

Cons: Doesn't minimize pores (I use a pore balm underneath to minimize my pores)

I really recommend this product to those who have oily or combination skin and want a matte finish BB cream that helps brighten and even out the skin tone. Since the BB cream is a primer + BB cream + sunblock all in one, it saves me alot of time(& money!). The best part is the BB cream changes and adjusts to everyone's skin color!

Where to buy:

This BB cream can be purchased from Lioele Texas for $21.98.
Samples of the Dollish Veil Vita BB cream can be purchased for $1.99 for 3 packets.

Style Inspiration: Kpop Idols: Krystal Jung & Ahn Sohee

F(x)'s Krystal and WG's Sohee not only have a pretty face and killer body but they also have a good fashion sense.  Krystal tends to stick to white, black, grey, and basics, which is the total opposite of F(X)'s stage clothes which are always very colorful and have a lot of design and prints. WG's Sohee also mostly wears white, black, grey and basics but she likes to wear unique prints. I like Krystal and Sohee's style because I personally prefer edgy and chic clothes over girly clothes.

Let's take a look at Krystal's fashion:

Sohee's Fashion:

*All images belong to their respective owners.

I really like how both their looks are very simple yet stylish. Krystal mainly wears the color black and I realized she doesn't wear much color or prints but when she does wear color, it's always red or burgundy. Sohee either wears simple outfits or wears very unique prints. They both love

What do you think of Krystal & Sohee's style? Also, who are your favorite stylish celebrities?

Lioele L'cret Miracle Magic Lipstick (Fanta Orange) *Sponsored Post

Hello Everyone~ WOOO! It's friday, the start of my weekend! ^ ^

Lioele Texas was very kind and sent me the L'cret Miracle Magic Lipstick in Fanta Orange. I previously reviewed the L'cret Miracle Magic Lipstick in Sexy Red (which was not sponsored). I was so excited when I received the lipstick because I had wanted to try the other colors. This review will be short since I already reviewed the product, so click on the link above for a detailed review~

Let's get started!

Description (From Lioele):

Lioele L'Cret Miracle Magic Lipstick is a hypoallergenic long lasting waterproof mood lipstick with SPF14. The lipstick is paraben-free, lasts for at least 12 hours and is non-transferable and kiss-proof.

This fade-resistant and innovative formula works on every skin tone to give you a customized color that lasts all day because the lipstick transforms into a color that suits your complexion and mood as it reacts with your skin's pH level to create a customized shade.

Lastly, this lipstick's soft texture goes on smoothly and stays longer because it contains the following: hippophae rhamnoides oil which supplies vitamin and is an all natural anti-oxidant which protects and balances your lip's level of moisture; white form complex which maintains moisture and elasticity with sweet almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil and sunflower seed complex; vegetable oil complex helps keep the shine and instantly rejuvenates and hydrates dry and flaky lips; seabuckthorn fruit extract; squalene which protects and keeps the skin smooth; and collagen which helps restore elasticity and soothes your lips.

This is a six-in-one lipstick with seven different features: It is a (1) lip balm, (2) lip color, (3) lip tint, (4) lipstick, (5) lip treatment, and (6) it has UV protection of SPF14. (7) The color will change depending on the lipstick color and your individual mood and pH levels.

Fanta Orange-->Peach Pink: Makes your lips fresh and lively with acacia fragrance and fresh orange color. Lipstick color changes from orange to Peach Pink

The L'cret Miracle Magic Lipstick comes in two different containers which you can choose based on your preference. Lioele sent me the diamond shape container but the one I had already (Sexy Red) is in the square shape container. I personally like the diamond shape container better, it is so pretty!

The top is a clear white to black gradient and the container is a metallic pink.

I was skeptical about the color changing properties because the color of the lipstick was such a bright orange but it really changed colors. I was really amazed when it changed into a peach color. (Color changing lipsticks are so cooool!)

Applied on my hands (Left: Once, Right: Three times)

The lipstick turns into a peachy pink when applied on the lips. (Applied twice)
*The lipstick is a mood lipstick which means it will look different on everyone depending on their skin's pH level.

Overall thoughts:

Pros: Applies super smoothly
Super long lasting & moisturizing
It has the vivid pigmentation of a lipstick and the moisture of a lip balm
Strong staining power (The color was still there after I ate an apple & watermelons)
Good ingredients that keep lips protected
SPF 14
The pretty packaging
Color is buildable

Cons: None!

In my previous post, I gave Sexy Red a con because it didn't change into a red as promised but Fanta Orange really changed into the peachy pink it promised.

I really like the L'cret Miracle Magic Lipsticks! I want it in all of the colors now~ You only have to apply once or twice throughout the day, it will last you the whole day. I'm very impressed!

Where to buy:

The L'cret Miracle Magic Lipstick can be purchased for $21.50 from Lioele Texas' Website.
